An old pic from a great day that my dad really enjoyed.
Lost a good one
A wild card, with an endless imagination. A story teller, that made the telling, interesting.
The last thing I said to him was “I love you pops” and he said “I love you too, more than you know.”
He always left quietly.
Farley always checked on his people to make sure we were keeping up!
farley was the best
Have you ever read a bumper sticker with a paw print “Who rescued who?” Yeah that sums up my buddy. Farley lived a long and adventurous life after somehow finding his way up into Illinois from Kentucky.
Plenty of head rubs, good sniffs and lots of treats (way too many and that’s on me). Going to remember him always as there are constant reminders on a daily basis.
Look at those boys!!!
10 years in the making
We were in the middle of the season when my dad passed, near the end of the season when Farley crossed over and these guys carried me throughout the season.
Staring up at the black sky after the victory, I knew those we lose are with us forever.
Gratitude for ebb and flow this year.
Thanks for reflecting with me.
Everyone goes through the ups and downs in life, how we respond is our choice.
